You know Rex as the bassist for the legendary metal band Pantera and has just put out a book called Official Truth, 101 Proof: The Inside Story of Pantera. Rex joins us this week to discuss his younger days, the book, his new band Kill Devil Hill and if a reconciliation between the three remaining members of Pantera can ever happen. Of course we’ll be throwing down a bunch of Pantera tunes as well.

Then this week’s soundtrack recommendation is for the new Fox television show The Following. A psychodrama starring Kevin Bacon that has done a good job of incorporating a ton of metal into the music of the show.
